Emily is the epitome of an avid sports fan. As a part of the first generation of girls that grew up with the WNBA, she had dreams of one day hitting the court with the likes of Becky Hammon and Diana Taurasi. However, after a less than stellar high school basketball career, Emily soon realized she had a better chance of lettering in journalism than athletics.
Still looking to pursue her dreams of one day working in the world of sports, she traded in her basketball shoes for pen and paper. Emily is currently studying as a college student with dreams of turning her passion for sports into an eventual career. |

Kinita has played sports her entire life but has a very fond love of watching women's basketball. She is currently Crossfitting to stay in shape because she thinks that she is old and can't shoot anymore. She is an avid UCONN and Longhorn follower. Favorite WNBA team(s) are Phoenix and San Antonio. |

I started playing basketball at a young age, as I got older my love of the game became more intense to the point I started coaching younger boys and girls, officiating games and becoming a statistician, due to a severe knee injury I had to forgo my basketball career. I will be writing about the WNBA, WNBL and NCAA, my favourite WNBA teams are Indiana Fever and San Antonio Silver Stars as for college teams I am a Lady Vols, Huskies and somewhat of a Sooners fan, talk about a conflict of interest!! All of my coaches were very much about defense so I am a very defensive minded person....remember "Defense wins games, offense sells tickets!!" |
